What ClackSnack is

A Display for the room and a Controller in your hand.

ClackSnack turns a TV into a Display of 405 little flap machines, inspired by the clattering departure boards you might remember from old train stations. The Controller is the app on your phone. It's where you decide what the machines will show.

Snacks, Packs and Spreads

Everything the board shows comes down to three simple things.

A Snack is one thing for the board to show: a few words, a drawing, or a photo turned into flaps.

A Pack gathers Snacks to play together, in order or shuffled. A morning Pack might have a greeting, a drawing and a riddle.

A Spread is what a Display plays: the Packs and Snacks you've laid out for it. Think of everything you've put on the table for the room.

Why Snacks?

Little bites for curious minds.

Not every moment needs a grand adventure. Sometimes all it takes is a curious question, a clever word, a little creativity, or something unexpected to make you smile.

We call them snacks because they’re small, satisfying morsels for the brain. Something to think about. Something to make. Something to laugh about. Something to share.

Take one. Take a handful. Pass them around.

There’s always room for another.

Four tabs

Curate: Delight in what you see. Choose the Snacks, Packs and pictures that play on your Display.

Play: Delight in what you do. Start a game session for everyone in the room, together or head to head.

Gather: Delight in what you say. Conversation and collaboration, face to face, are coming soon.

Create: Delight in what you make. Draw, write and turn photos into flaps of your own.

The board doesn't rush. Each machine turns through the flaps on its wheel until the right one arrives. Even a short message gets a proper entrance.
