A household brings together the people, Displays, and library you share.
Open the profile menu and tap Edit beside your household to see who’s part of it, along with their names, email addresses, and roles. If you’re a member, tap View instead.
There are three roles, each with different permissions.
Owner can invite people, manage invitations and Displays, change members’ roles, remove members, and transfer ownership.
Admin can invite people, manage invitations and Displays, and remove members.
Member can use the household’s Controller, library, and games, but can’t invite people, manage invitations or Displays, change roles, or remove members.
Invite someone
Owners and admins can tap Invite someone to control the boards, enter an email address, and choose Create invite link.
Find the link in the invitation list, copy it, and share it with the person you’re inviting. ClackSnack creates the link but doesn’t send the email for you. You can also revoke a pending invitation from this list.
The invited person opens the link, signs in with the same email address, and taps Accept invite. They’ll join as a member.
If they’re already signed in with a different email address, they’ll need to sign out and use the invited one.
Switch or leave a household
If you belong to more than one household, the profile menu shows which one you’re currently using. Tap its row to switch households, or tap Edit or View beside another household to open its member list.
You can also switch households by tapping the household name on the Account page.
Each household has its own Displays and library.
There isn’t currently a Leave household button. To leave, ask the household’s owner or an admin to remove you. If you’re the owner, you can transfer ownership to another member first, then ask to be removed.
